Final departures depend on season and special events—missing the last scheduled loop may mean taking a streetcar, rideshare, or local taxi home.
Morning and early evening often offer the best light for photos and a more relaxed atmosphere; late nights on Frenchmen Street bring the liveliest music but also larger crowds.
Advance booking is strongly recommended during festival dates and holiday weekends when services may sell out.
City transit passes do not usually include private hop‑on hop‑off buses—check what’s included with any public transportation cards you have.
